I thought the original game was quite nice and would love to see another. One suggestion I would have for a potential sequel would be to make the choices a little more interactive, like when you confront the looter; if you picked the sledge hammer, its so slow that you miss and he then stabs you to death. Stuff like that would make any text adventure FAR more interesting!

Oh and you shouldn't be let down by the rating, some of the best games I've played on the site only have a rating around 3.

make another one but use a story like you did last time with choices but add sum shooting, hitting, puzzles and upgrades.

Honestly i came into you're game expecting the usual over the top camera shooter crap type of zombie games on NG. I was surprised, i actually thought about my decisions and what to do, it was a game of trial and error, and a lot about morality. I want to know what happens after i cut off my wifes hand lol. Please make another one, this game you made actually incorporates a GREAT STORYLINE. I cared about the main character and hsi struggle to find his wife. Please make another outbreak, i would highly highly highly appreciate it and so would the other fans of DF:Outbreak.

I loved the game. The only problem there was, if you ask me, is that it was too linear.
No matter what. You either die or follow the same path.

Now this may just be that I haven't played the game through or not.

To tell you the truth, I hated the MMO, but I liked this "game". You are correct, you don't see many choose your own adventures on Newgrounds, but it is a nice change. Please do make another, I will be sure to play it. Also, it has a much higher score now. :D
Even though I hate things jumping out and scaring me, I would say add a couple of "holy shit" moments in there, where something moves in the background or something jumps out from the text. I will probably hate myself for giving that piece of advice, but I think it would be a good addition.

Yes,absolutely.If you check, the score has bumped up to 4.33,which is amazing. The story was pretty interesting, and I would hate it if there was no ending in sight. So go for it!

Dude, listen; There's thousands of kids out there who just LOVE to spam 0 all over newgrounds. I really don't think that the game (which I think is awesome btw) deserves that score!

I totally think you should continue the story. It's some of the greatest I've seen on this site!

Definetly you should make another. The story is epic and the mood amazing. Like some other people have said though try not to make it so by the book. Maybe with that little girl she just be really scared and lost instead of the obvious conclusion. Other than that great job.

it was an awesome game! love those text only games! i was able to save my wife and i want to see continuation because it epic! sadly i got a low score on compassion.....HEY IT A ZOMBIE OUTBREAK!!! killed that looter and john!

Well, the game score has increased since you made the post and the improvements with the checkpoints are excellent, as is the verdicts of your game style at the end.

I would love to see a sequel of the same quality and length.
