Every time I play the MMO all I hear is rain. My computer freezes up and I cant play the game. It was fine before I downloaded that software.
Actually play the person with inter active NPCs :D
Make a story that ties in to the actual MMO. Like how this man might have come to live in the outpost zone of Fairview City. That would be really cool!
OK....You should make a game when that guy will hear on the radio that there will be a bombing in the city because the zombies numbers increased and everyone was sure that there were no survivors left and everyone inside the compound will have to find a way out of the city but first have to get supplies weapons of choice handgun,a rusty shotgun(that can jam on you at any moment),and a 45.Magnum next you will have to get something else choice, Baseball bat first aid kit and some money when everyone is ready yall leave in a car after 15 minutes of driving you dive pass a mall then the car runs out of gas and a horde is rushing towards the car and choices, fix the car and hope for best, run inside of car and lock door or try to kill all of them. if you lock the door your right any of the other ones game over LOL and once your in side the car you have 3 choices shoot all the zombies fight them off with bat or waait and see will it go away oh yea forgot to say this but the zombies is knocking on your window 1 of those choices are right and aftrer you kill the zombies you will have to go into the mall and look for supplies and while your walking you see the knoked down door from when the zombies broke down the door like from the last tim you was inside the mall you see Ox you dont know if hes infected or not so you...... choices: shoot him, talk to him or kick him in his back well I think you should take it from here
Hey JBS, I have enjoyed the first two games so much that I thought I could possibly help you with the plot of the third game. Please feel free to cherry pick ONLY the best of my story. Without further ado:
[28 days after the events of where Dead Frontier: Outbreak 2 left off]
It's the DAWN of just another day until you wake up to the sounds of a military helicopter flying over the fortified farm. All your survivors gather in the opening, enthusiastically shouting and flailing their arms all about to gain the attention of what's above. The chopper circles the farm and clearly notices the commotion down below-but casually flies away seconds after...
...A few days later the military chopper returns and after circling the farm yet again they land right outside the fortified compound. You greet them and come to find they are a small Search & Rescue military unit-consisting of a pilot, medic, engineer, and the captain of the squad. You also notice a man and woman in the chopper from a previous S&R mission. The captain introduces himself as Shane and informs you they are among the first wave of S&R units dispatched across the state to take you to a much safer military base with more resources until this epidemic is under control.
The squad searches the place, takes a head count, and makes sure no one is injured. There is a problem though: not enough room on the chopper for all the survivors. Realizing the farm is fairly secure on its own, the captain promptly decides they will have to make two trips to scoop everyone up from the farm starting with women & children.
You swear to Shane that you REFUSE to be separated from your wife ever again and tell him that you have experience with firearms and battling with the infected. After some persuasion, the captain takes somewhat of a liking to you because of your brave leadership and passionate loyalty to your wife. Shane sees that you can be an asset back at the base and makes an exception for you to hop on board with your wife and a mother and child from your group.
On the way back to the base, the military squad knows they have to go to a makeshift pit stop located just on the outskirts of The Big City to refuel. The captain radios ahead to alert them of their coming-but doesn't get a response after multiple tries...
Everyones worst fears are realized when they arrive in the vicinity of the pit stop... from the skies above, the crew watches down below helplessly as FIRE and SMOKE billow in and around the refueling station. It has been unexplainably compromised by DOZENS of infected down below.
Shane radios back to HQ to break the bad news about the refuel depot and tells them he needs reinforcements to bring fuel ASAP... HQ informs Shane the S&R efforts so far haven't been going as planned with many S&R squads themselves lost or gone missing... the base is overwhelmed with damage control and resources are severely constricted-it will take at least four days for backup to arrive to their location.
Running low on fuel, Shane quickly decides that THIS crew has to take matters into their own hands. The best chance to find fuel would be in the belly of the beast-The Big City... the one you once so desperately clawed to get the hell out of from the very start of this epidemic.
The pilot flies around until he deems a safe, suitable landing spot on a Target store rooftop in the heart of the city. Shane forms two teams: the engineer, medic, you, and himself will fall into the streets below to search for fuel and other survivors. The rest of the crew will hold down the fort and make sure the chopper and rooftop are not over run by the infected.
With limited small arms to split amongst the 10 of you-Shane has his M4 & knife, you take the government issued MP5. The medic has a Glock pistol, flashlight, & first aid kit... and the engineer carries a hatchet as well as a crowbar and extra ammo for all three of you. Shane puts the pilot in charge of the topside crew and they take the remaining 2 pistols to be shared between themselves.
After scoping out the rooftop and securing it, your four man crew checks their weapons and plunges into the depths of hell down below...
Possible missions:
-Secure the Target store down below and search for possible survivors, food, weapons, and other amenities for the topside survivors.
-Expand your search out into the streets/sewers for the much needed fuel and survivors.
With the city as your playground, the possibilities and plot twists are endless with the right imagination... you are also part of a tight-knit team now as opposed to going mostly solo in the previous two games.
Hopefully I provided some ideas that will spark your imaginations for the third installment of Dead Frontier: Outbreak. Thank you and I will be looking forward to playing part 3!
You could do a story about the guy's Wife being taken by like a gang or something and having the player go rescue his wife, have to go get supplies for the outpost because he was told to once he got back and then have to get back again
I think perhaps start fresh, with a new survivor. And perhaps this time without a wife/relative.. This could suit more in with the whole having no compassion aspect of the game(While still having alot of room for compassion), perhaps give us some moral questions in the beginning to make a personality for the survivor, like if you answer negatively on some questions your survivor will be mean. And perhaps let us save some survivors that have a name and depending on who you saved and/or approached, they have different personalitys, like a selfish rich woman(Whom you saved because she looks pretty! :P), or perhaps a aged african-american police officer(Who will deliever some asskicking), or something completly third. And also putting BIG morale choices in them, like where you sacrifice yourself so others can live and STILL win the game (Basicly different endings)
Perhaps we could even choose the name of our hero? ^^
Just my thoughts :P
PS: You rule! ^^
no we cant be too sure of the animal idea cuz sum animals maybe immune to diseases i.e dogs, cats, reptiles also it may have different effets on animals as well i.e death, mad cow disease <==== lol or canibalism....oh yea my idea is that the guy (lets name him "AI") is on the search for survivors capable of making the fortified settlement into and impenetrable stronghold. maybe AI manage to rescue a engineer, architect or carpenters. and also include sum1 dats connected to the virus i.e one of the scientists, a high ranked military soldier or one of the test subjects that may have escaped. or u cud resort AI finding a close relative or an officemate while searching for survivors.
his wife gets kidnapped, BUT while looking for her, he get's bitten, and if THAT wasn't enough, the military comes and shoots everything, and everyone. and if THAT wasn't enough, his insane BROTHER is the kidnapper, so, on his adventure, he has to
find his wife
find some medicine
deal with the army
and deal with his brother.
so if he DOES find his wife, lets say the military blew up there house, so NOW they have to find a way pass the infected. on there way they encounter 7 survivors. problem is, one of them is infected. take or leave? if take, then he turns into one and 3 survivors die. but that's if you don't shoot him. if you shoot him, your compassion goes down a bit. so after much walking/driving, they come across a pharmacy- oh fuck more infected. you can either choose run them over, IF you have a car and some extra gas, or let the survivors deal with them (- 3 survivors and some compassion). get the medicine, take it, and come across... son of a bitch a military base BUT you can try to negotiate. so if you negotiate, then the end. so, what do ya think?
Well my idea is continue whit the history of the original history but the new mission is get out from the state and go at one island whit the wife for save her life
The character should find a crashed helicopter and find Gregg Stevens camping out in it. Go Dead Frontier!
Have him try to reach some sort of rescue vechile when the farm is overrun, and he does loads of awesome survival stuff (that you usually create) and when he gets to the vechile, he learns that it left without them or something. Like, if you win you might be able to get on. But if you don't, the guy watches the helicopter fly away and he kills himself. Or something like that. Please consider this.
I have torgh what if the farm get's sarounded by infected zombie's and you and the other's would have to find a way out of the far without geting notised by the infected
do a L4D2 thing and make a new survivor and have them meet with the one from DF: outbreak 1&2
So, is part three coming...?
Is DF:3 still in the works?
Hey JBS! i think the compound would surly be discovered by infected, and that the survivors would have to fight back. It could also be that the food runs out and the compound should try finding a new place to fortify.? just a thought but you should definatly make part 3!!
I think it should have the same style, with gigantic repercussions. ex. -let bitten person stay with group- then later on you lose half your team or something. Also, make it like the MMO at times like, -fight off zombies- then you have to use the weapons you found or took with you to beat them off. Or -collect item from body- also like the MMO as you loot the body while fighting off the infected.
