Should we make another DF: Outbreak?

Me and my brother were planning to make a few more episodes of Dead Frontier: Outbreak in order to continue the story. However we were a little disappointed by the score it got (3.85 ish) - we were kind of hoping it would do a little better. Chances are the game won't make the front page with that kind of score.

Is it just that nobody wants to play a text-only game anymore? I can totally understand that since reading can be a chore sometimes. But I also feel it can be a lot more immersive. Also thought the voice would help make it more interesting but guess it'd didn't make a huge difference.

So Newgrounds, would you like to see more of this kind of game or should we just move on?

It was an excellent game I loved it please make another game but a longer one this time. Like maybe you now have a son, or you have to make your way to a military base to have a permanent safe place. Or maybe find out that the remaining military are going to Nuke the infected areas and you have to find a military base or either flee to the Alaskan brook's range. Whatever you do the first one was excellent!

you need to make a sequel....and then another one and then another...:) I loved the game but the only thing you should do is make it more clear that you can make the text faster.....

Don't give up on the idea of a text-only game. Just understand that the game is only as good as the story then. Considering a text game doesn't have the same demands as others, I would have made it longer with more twists and turns. I really liked that you added a rating system at the end of it and I thought the voice narration was a good idea, but, and maybe this is just me, I didn't want to wait to listen to it and just read ahead. Maybe some select voice acting at certain dialogue points in the story would be better? If you want to bounce ideas around with a writer/voice actor. feel free to drop me a line.

It made it to 4.29 at the time of this comment, and it also made to #4 Daily. Also, even if it doesn't make a great score (which 4.29 is an awesome score anyways), it still attracted a large group of players, and made your current players such as myself very happy.

Continue the storyline, we can't wait. :3

Yes, you really should.

Even with a game this well made, though, you should put in more interactive elements, and perhaps some cutscenes.

It is indeed so that text-games are becoming somthing rare becouse of the lack of popularity
but if you keep it interesting enough with posible scores and ranks it stays intresting and so gains more popularity

Text games are a little out but you have a sure fan base if you ever do.

I think the score is a little lower than it deserves because one or two of the ultra 'zombie geeks' may be annoyed they didn't score A+++++++++++, or whatever, on their ranking.

The game had a great story and i'd love to play the sequel.

You guys should totally make more episodes, this one was amazing. it really captured the feeling of being in that kind of situation and it was very well written. If you want to please the masses you might try adding in a cutscene here and there to accompeny some choices. But I loved the game for what it was so no complaints from me!

I fell in love with this game immediately! Please... We all support this. I just rated it 5/5 which brought the total score up to 4:30! Believe me, we all want number 2 to be released <3.

Dead Frontier: Outbreak was really fun, I especially like the voice acting and the rating you get at the end.... I really think that you should continue making them, at least for the little fan base you do have! I'm definitely a fan and would play them over and over again ^_^

I absolutely think you guys should make more episodes for Dead Frontier Outbreak!!! That text only game was amazing and i loved the story. i like how it tells me how well i did at the end. It was a great game. You should make more and i will be the first person to see it :) good job with everything

hey there, I loved your text based game, I'm a big fan of these types I even play some round based ones on a few other sites but thats a story for another time. Again I really enjoyed them. PLEEEEEEAAAASE make more, although just a suggestion, a few more background photos perhaps illustrating the actions that we're taking will make it more itneresting.
